btw the liquify layer was underneathe the masterchief render and I used the dodge tool on top of the masterchief render (I know it would have been esier to put it on top but I enjoy challenging myself more

actually for the background I used a transform to pull the orginal picture to the corners then used a motion blur at 45 degrees then I used a liquify filter at the same angle and I think I se it to either soft light or hard light on top of another layer

Nice effect you got there, I would use it only I am using my own Halo 3 wallpaper now :)

I really like it, did you use a plastic filter, or maybe a chrome set to everlay? Looks interesting nonetheless, hope to see more wallpapers for you.
